What I liked
The smart script doesn’t shy away from classic comic book tropes while also delivering a compelling and original super-powered relationship drama where personal secrets have epic consequences. The fantastic cast nimbly transition from comedy to action to heartbreak. The evocative costumes, dynamic visuals and sound design, and inventive fight choreography and direction all serve to make this team-up of super artists a stand-out Fringe show!

My overall impression
“Tattered Capes” is one of my favorite shows from this year’s Fringe! So glad I got to see one of the encore performances. An original smart, fun, and surprisingly moving take on the superhero genre.
