What I liked
The constant nods to the tropes and stereotypes from the comics and films and Franchises we’re all we needed to get good and settled into the world of the play. However, not every character was a complete stereotype. Every one of the Five felt like they had their own life and opinion, which helped the show from delving too deep into slapstick. I loved the shadowplay for StarChild’s scene.
What I didn't like
Some of the transitions could go a bit smoother, but that is something only time and repetition can develop, which hardly any show, much less a Fringe one, has an easy time getting.
My overall impression
It was such a delightful rompy parody of the superhero concept we’ve become so accustomed to that you don’t see the heart of it creep up on you until truly the very end.
