What I liked
Tone, setting, and execution of the actors. The ensemble numbers we’re unique and the cast genuinely looked as if they were having a blast.
What I didn't like
As much as I love piano, it would have been wonderful to hear more eclectic choices from the orchestration, like the song “Superman”. Of course, without a large budget this can be difficult but I definitely believe contrasting timbres will help this story shine.
My overall impression
Ever engaging and resonant, No Matter Watt places us directly into the mindset of a struggling addict with a positive light (literally) guiding the audience through almost 50 straight minutes of memorable music.
