What I liked
Ensemble member Megan’s voice is an absolute standout in this production. The comedic moments and elements (ie. the song Superman, Jeremy Ebenstein’s performance) are some of the best moments in the show because they are quirky, relatable, and played with the grace and hope (pun intended) of the characters’ emotions. I enjoyed the staging and choreography and the heart that Gordon has put into this show. His passion for this piece shows.
What I didn't like
Some of the transitions could be a little more seamless, and some of the show could be tightened a bit, but in time, I think it will get there.
My overall impression
I have seen this show grow a lot over the past year, from many changes, from the failures to successes, and overall, this show, while ambitious and maybe a little loose and unpolished (it is Fringe after all!), has some great moments that will become even better in time and with the chance to expand the work into a longer piece.
