What I liked

Every actor on stage is magnetizing. Dagney Kerr makes you fall in love with her in the opening number, Rebecca Larsen’s dry wit and humor adds a very vital third flavor to this balloon-animal of a show, Lauren Van Kurin is a comic force, and Matthew Bohrer will keep you grinning like an idiot. All the while, supported by an amazing three piece band that supports – not dominates – the show. Sarah Kruger’s choreography is about as outrageous and lovely as the entire production.

What I didn't like

If (and this is a fat if) anything, I’d be interested in hearing more intricate musical numbers! Other than that, bravo!

My overall impression

Bernstein & Picot have done it again. Bernstein brings his signature off-kilter eccentric charm that warms your heart in ways you weren’t previously aware of. Picot’s direction makes the production very true to itself, revealing it’s kooky befuddled little heart.

Earth to Karen is so sweet I had to chase it with a strawberry cheesecake crepe.
