This show isn’t just a really good fun musical, it is a superb comedy on par with the Carol Burnett Show. Especially Lauren with the gloves and the Harry Caray impression and all of her expert timing. And Rebecca kills it in a not quite as flashy and much more grounded and real character that is no less brilliant and hilarious. Her inability to whip up enough energy to do anything much less sit up straight, she knows just how far she can push every single bit. And Dagney kinda has to play the Dickey Smothers to Lauren and Rebecca’s Tommy, but she adds a lot more. She’s got a calm frantic energy that is incredibly unnerving and utterly perfect.
