This show was so much fun! Watching the actresses make massive character shifts seamlessly as the hypnotism does it’s work is hilarious! It left me wanting a mini-series to continue the story! Definitely watch it for a good laugh!... full review

I do love a dose of the paranormal or mystical or science fiction to throw life into sharp relief. Transference by Jim Blanchette proves to be exactly that. A teacher named Jessica (Lisa K. Watt) attends a therapy session, this time trying to use hypnosis to cure her smoking. Her therapist Dr. Herbert (Esther Mira) tries to reassure her, calming the nervous woman down. Eventually she does hypnotize her and BOOM! Jessica remembers all her past lives. All of them. And in every single one, she and Dr. Herbert loved each other deeply. But they also ended up murdered. ... full review

Very deep and very funny. What I like when actors don't try to make it funny, they just have a conversation and tell about their needs and their POV, but still it is so funny- so these actresses definitely accomplished this. Very impressive story and deep.... full review

Transference revisits ideas from On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, but adds a very dark twist! With clever black humor it explores how our past existences color and shape our present lives. ... full review

A powerful show about love and how love knows no age, time, gender or space. It is very well written. Blanchette’s intelligence and charm shines through this marvelous short play. I love how this show questions the importance of being in love and journey that love takes us on. Would be do it all over agin even if we know it ends badly? The whole premise of the play is original and unique. ... full review

Ever go back for a second round with an ex? Try doing that a hundred times. Transference is a lighthearted romp through a dark past. In a single scene on a single set, two talented actors give us a peek at what it's like to never really get over the love of your life.... full review
