Jessie’s Messy Mind was created by artist, activist and mother Jessie Knowles. It brings the audience inside the world of her experiences with bipolar and schizophrenia using stories, original music, humor and hope. Jessie has struggled with the way our culture addresses and talks about mental health. She hopes that Jessie’s Messy Mind encourages people to change the way they look at their own journey and begin to talk about mental health in a new way, with honesty, humor, compassion and acceptance.
