The songs were super catchy and fun, accompanied by chorus staging you don’t usually see on such a scale at Fringe.
The story made you care about the characters, even as the jokes were piling on. We were still invested in their arcs.
The poster artwork is amongst my favorites at Fringe this year.
What I didn't like
I would love to see this show with a little more rehearsal and fine tuning.
My overall impression
Robot Teammate knocks it out of the park again with Pockets, a musical romp with terrifically staged numbers and songs that’s never afraid to pokes fun at itself and the genre as well. It’s amazing how much they pack into one hour to create an effective story, memorable characters, and references galore.
