Minor spoilers ahead: I am always thoroughly impressed with what Robot Teammate comes up with, and I've known them for a while, and in my opinion, this show really showcased their vocal ranges in ways that I didn't know existed, specifically in the duet between Molly and Kat's characters where the blend is impeccable and the vocal quality is strong--really impressed with Dave's baritone register and Chris' ability to rattle off a pseudo patter song with such energy and grace. While I still find myself singing the theme song to Thug Tunnel, Pockets is such a fun, tongue-in-cheek show that just continues to throw surprises (and a LOT of cast members whom seem to be underutilized but really help fill the space and make it feel like a crowded c... full review

Pockets was a dang blast! The immense silliness was matched by its top-notch production. The Robots all shined but even some of the secondary and background characters had great scenes. You can tell Robot Teammate really know what they're doing.... full review

An awesome and hilarious hour of music, quips, goofy English accents. I've seen all of Robot Teammate's shows at Fringe and each one has been a unique and fun experience. I could tell they had a lot of fun putting this together and performing. They blend many styles of music and humor. This is the Lego Movie of musical stage productions at Fringe. Excited to watch what they do next.... full review

Robot Teammate, the LA-based musical comedy collective behind Pockets, has quite the reputation at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and it's easy to see why. The writing is clever, the music is catchy, the characters are interesting, and the cast looks to be having a contagious amount of fun.... full review

Timeheart, Thug Tunnel, Turbulence, and now... POCKETS! Oy-deloy! What a wonderful musical from the always hilarious and harmonious Robot Teammate! I devoured it like a fresh crumpet on Crumpet Day! I absolutely loved the way the big ensemble brought Crumpeton to life, and they gelled perfectly with Robot Teammate's core cast. Molly Dworsky picked at the heartstrings as the lovable Pockets. Kat Primeau channelled her inner Rachel Weisz from "The Favourite" as the ambitious duchess. Chris Bramante earned my trust forever as the lovable put-pocket Veegan. And Dave Reynolds made me laugh until I pissed my stockings, effortlessly switching between personal favorite, Barkley St. Piggins, and sandwich thief turned rebel leader, Jim Val Jim. What m... full review

Pockets was a tremendous performance. You can tell Robot Teammate spent so much time and effort to stage this. The chemistry between the members was clear. They engage the audience in a playful way, and sometimes provide a timely bit of self awareness. The subject matter was hilarious, but allows room for thoughtful reflection after leaving. Strong female leads carry the emotional arc of the show while equally strong male members bolster the beats within the narrative. Keep following this crew, wherever they go! ... full review
