What I liked

Fast-paced. The play has many comedic moments to relieve the heart-wrenching story. All of the characters are complicated and nuanced.

What I didn't like

Some of the technical cues could be improved. There were a few times when lights went up or down too early, and we as the audience missed some important moments.

My overall impression

The best Fringe Show I’ve seen so far-poignant and unique, PRODIGY gives you a sneak peak into the life of a Korean-American family. 15 minutes in, your heartstrings get pulled, and by the end of the play, I was in tears. The cast acted with heart and humility, and the direction kept the show moving along at a real-time pace. I would go see this show AGAIN! A must see.
