Raw performances, great music, a fascinating window into what it’s like growing up in a deaf household
What I didn't like
Would love to hear a bit more about ASL as a language. For instance, there was a moment where Maurer talks about the signing of ‘no common sense’ and calls it pure ASL. Be great to hear more examples like that to show what a fascinating and dynamic form of communication it is.
My overall impression
Funny, earnest, engaging, totally original…a must see.
