The gathering pace of absurdity, the slick choreography, the velvet voice of the actor playing Danny/Denny. The story flip was really well handled.
What I didn't like
Thought short, it’s a perfectly contained story. I’d be curious, however, about a second act, and how the writers might depict further steps along the path to recovery.
My overall impression
Engrossing and smart. It’s hard to write about mental health without falling into the “crazy” trap. This provided a logical through line, compelling characters with real needs, and came closest to a metaphor for mental health issues than anything I’ve ever seen. It was a powerful experience.
