The physical and verbal comedy work between the two patients is extraordinary. It makes you laugh and simultaneously drop your jaw.
The script is tight and doesn’t over-explain when it doesn’t have to.
The little twist at the end was earned and tied up all the loose ends effectively.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything.
My overall impression
45 Milligrams blends adept physical comedy with deeper, mental issues while being wrapped in an absurdist blanket. I was completely engaged the whole time, having no clue where they were going to take it. It’s hard to believe 30 minutes could fly by so fast.
