What I liked

I really admired the comedic timing – both inherent in the actors, and in the direction of the piece – and also the specificity of the character work. The design is also every hipster’s woodland dream. It’s like that charming vision we think camping will be like when we envision it in our heads, before we actually go camping. But most importantly, I was not expecting the play to reach me on an existential level. There are some beautiful universal themes being explored in a truly delightful way.

What I didn't like

If I were to really put my dramaturg hat on, I would say that I would want a little more clarity with regards to the overarching plot in a second draft of the script. But this by no means detracted from my initial viewing. It was simply an afterthought :)

My overall impression

Just delightful. Makes you laugh – makes you think – makes you feel a little something. Go see it.
