What I liked

The level of detail on every level was so lovely – especially the auditory layers that were added by cast members semi-hidden in the corners behind ladders and tents. I heard and appreciated every moment of it. Also – such a fantastic cast and solid direction makes this more like an immersive experience than a ‘stage show’.

What I didn't like

Nothing from the production – but I do wish the bear could have gone back in time and stolen the snacks from the couple sitting next to me in the audience. The woman tried to open a small bag of what looked like Skittles for what felt like five minutes before the man took the bag and wrestled it open. And that was just one of three bags, friends.

My overall impression

This was a delightful experience, from pre-show to the final moment. The set is beautiful, the performances are strong, the comedy keeps on coming folks and there are some surprisingly moving moments. Who knew a bear could be so eloquent? Or a tea bag for that matter? If you want to know more about what I’m talking about, run, don’t walk, and get yourself a ticket.
