What I liked
Two tables, two Chairs, a flower arrangement, and a picture frame. That was the set. GOOD. We needed the space to watch Elise command that space! I loved the seamless and yet striking transitions between characters, even a DUET sung distinctively by two different characters, AMAZING!! Elise Dewsberry is a force.
What I didn't like
Wished it was longer, the audience wanted MORE!!!
My overall impression
It was STUNNING work and carried all by a single brilliant actor. It was a lesson on the genesis of Mother’s Day and arguably who started it. More importantly, it follows the journey of the credited woman who wanted to abolish it.
