What I liked
The impersonations are well thought out and make you cringe, not because of her performance, but because THESE PEOPLE CLEARLY EXIST. And Lindsey did a little standup bit at the end that was a pure GOLD MINE. It was authentic, and touching, and funny.
What I didn't like
More of the standup. I think incorporating the characters you’ve perfected into your real-life stories would be one HELL of a show. Tell me about the interactions you had with these people! The best sketches were the ones where I could almost hear the other side of the conversation—particularly with Barb and your mother! So tell me about these people the way you did your aunts—in story, with your impersonations interwoven.
My overall impression
Lindsey has a great talent for impersonating so many different people and characters from back home in Missouri! Her best gift is her her natural ability to be funny just while telling stories, and she saved it for last!
