This brilliant piece of work was so well executed, I was shocked my seat wasn’t in the mezzanine of a sold out Broadway show. The content is poignant, articulate, touching, and intensely relevant to our current cultural climate. The acting was gut wrenching and raw. The show was such a brilliant presentation of current issues in our society involving race and sexuality. Knowing it was a “family drama” I didn’t expect to laugh so much! For a drama/tragedy, it is actually hilarious in all the right places! By the time it ended, I (and just about everyone else in the theater) was left silent and still. I had to let the impact of the message sink in before I felt like I could move out of the theater. Very powerful stuff! Really well crafted and brilliantly executed!! This is a story that needs to be told today and one that people everywhere need to see! ... full review
