I was blown away by this show! The best show I have seen in LA in 6 years. Deeply moving, surprising, and inspiring. Even though on the surface it may look like this story is about a girl who grew up with a harsh father figure and bunch of dogs while living in the remote parts of Canada—there was something so easy to relate to in her story that resonated with probably every member of the audience.... full review

Marla Black has a crazy story to tell, one that will make you think for quite a while after. I found myself looking at my own world in a different way. Marla is a witty writer and tells her story with humor, grace, and emotion. I learned something new, laughed out loud, gasped, and cried. Raised by Wolves is a real work of art. ... full review

Marla is so likable and it makes us fall in love with her and her show the second she steps on the stage. There is not a single part of her that the audience dislikes and we are rooting for her the whole way. I so appreciate and admire her honesty and candor and how she so easily transitioned from humor to devastation so smoothly and with ease. I hope she makes another show because I will for sure be in that audience. If you decide to skip this show, you are making a sorry mistake. Get your butt in one of those seats and see for yourself.... full review
