What I liked

Charismatic leads, I completely bought it.

What I didn't like

I hope I can see the full length of the play sometime, although it might get frustrating to see a 3 act play about the Beatles without the other Beatles or any Beatles music. But I don’t know if that would be the case. I certainly left feeling like I had had a Beatles experience, without those other elements, so good on them for pulling that off so well.

My overall impression

This is a fascinating mini slice of Beatles history that dares to take John Lennon off his pedestal long enough to see a real person, a young man a bit full of himself, thrust into an unreal status from all sides & the moment he decides to take some control over the myth.
