What I liked

All of the actors do a superb job of honestly living the lives of the characters. The story is seamless and compelling. The staging is simple and pure. The lighting and sound design heighten the time and place.

Boelter does a fantastic job of mirroring the turbulence of the 1960’s with our current day in a way that ought to make audience goers pause and consider what it is we are doing with gun rights and extremist thought.

What I didn't like

If this is one part of a three part play, I might consider tightening it up a bit. But overall, this play really is a compelling look at an incredibly interesting moment in history.

My overall impression

Really enjoyed this play. Trevor Beolter constructed a seamless fifty-five minute one-act that points to a very specific moment in the life of one of our most iconic music legends, John Lennon. The actors do a beautiful and authentic job of telling this incredibly compelling story.
