This is one to see, friends - and as many reviewers before me have noted, this is what Fringe is for. As the program tells us, this is the second act of what I now hope will one day be a full play. You might think you have seen everything there is to see, from every possible angle, about The Beatles and John Lennon but this play here explores an incident that could just as easily happen today to an artist and ends up being about so much more than just this snapshot in Lennon's timeline. The performances are a delight. The script is solid. It's worth the time it takes to park, and though that might sound like nothing, on a weeknight, it can feel like we've entered the realm of Mad Max out there looking for a spot.... full review

Great casting and chemistry from all the actors. A fascinating sneak peek behind the scenes of a crucial moment in The Beatles' history. Would have loved to have seen more, as this was entertaining from start to finish. You don't even have to be the biggest Beatles fan to appreciate the context of this show. But for those of us who are big fans, there are also some fun subtle tidbits sprinkled throughout the show. One of my favs that I've seen thus far!... full review

Really enjoyed this play. Trevor Beolter constructed a seamless fifty-five minute one-act that points to a very specific moment in the life of one of our most iconic music legends, John Lennon. The actors do a beautiful and authentic job of telling this incredibly compelling story. ... full review

This is a fascinating mini slice of Beatles history that dares to take John Lennon off his pedestal long enough to see a real person, a young man a bit full of himself, thrust into an unreal status from all sides & the moment he decides to take some control over the myth.... full review

A solid one-act play. John Lennon was a pretty complicated dude and this play paints a fair and interesting picture of a pivotal moment in the man's life.... full review
