What I liked

Great specificity with her choices as she morphs from one character into another.

What I didn't like

With the introduction of God in the show, one wonders why there wasn’t a bit of a deeper dive into the possibility that women may not be created just for procreation, which is an idea that is hinted at early on in the piece.

My overall impression

Ms. Downing has a genuine talent for bringing characters to life in this solo show. Her energy, physicality and center shifts to embody a variety of characters, from the slightly [maybe completely] mysoginistic doctors her character Jenny and husband Matt encounter on their quest to get pregnant to the delightful older woman next door to the new age acupuncturist who promises to access angel babies – the show seems to cover it all.
