What I liked
Cathy is fun, funny, and freaking talented. She writes new lyrics to broadway and torch favorites which satisfy the curiosity of those who wonder what it was like to be attracted to and rise into high ranks of Scientology and the secrets that members are sworn to keep. She turns the lessons of being invaded by aliens and being shunned while trying to leave into an evening of comedy. Super fun! And with puppets!
What I didn't like
I loved it all…it stands alone. I left wanting more and that is amazing.
My overall impression
This send up of Scientology from an ex Scientologist who escaped after spending 20 years and a million dollars to become ‘clear’ turns the whole ride from seeker to sucker into an evening of hilarity. And boy can she sing!
