About the Project
If We Ever is set in a near future where people pay “scripters” to script real-life story arcs, in order to create a better narrative for themselves as well as for the image of their life that they project to others. In this future, a group of young people, each disillusioned with their lives, pay an agency to script an arc that will shock them from their apathy. However, they soon find out that the scripted arcs could lead them through less-than-ideal narratives, and expose their secrets to a curious and judging public.
