What I liked

I love the concept of this story. It’s a very inventive idea and watching made me feel very uncomfortable for this family at the whim of their father/husband’s abuse/mental illness.

What I didn't like

I was confused by the miming of the dice at the start of the show since the set/props are realistic. I felt that the father/husband character needed to be more human so that the audience can have compassion for him and understand why the family has stayed this long despite his abuse.

My overall impression

Very thought provoking, intensely uncomfortable, inventive concept. I could see this show being developed into a film as well. I also loved the set design!
