A surreal bus ride into the dark heart of the American West. A photographer has followed a “real” cowboy onto a cross country bus. Intercut with disturbing imagery from Western landscapes that have come and gone, the exchange between the photographer and the cowboy turns dark and menacing. The cowboy has a sister who he describes as a “diagnosed freak of nature” with disturbing powers – a dark angel. The bus driver announces stops along the route toward Cheyenne we sense a dark retribution is being enacted.
