The varied and nuanced performance of the woman lead. The Christ-like mystery in the man’s character; perhaps he’s a motherless child.
What I didn't like
Well, the man was not so clearly defined as, Latino – maybe this is plot. But neither was the actor as he didn’t seem to affect any sort of accent. i.e. He wouldn’t pass a “closed eye” test. Oh, a central pivot point relies on, Schtick… cute, but teetering.
My overall impression
I feel the need to state that, this was my date’s selection.
Now, if you are reading on… It’s a curious piece of theatre. One character is terrifically unlikable for the first… twenty minutes. The other is even more beguiling at various times. There is a riptide of Christianity throughout.
