Fantastic — hilarious and affecting in equal parts (often at the same time), fast-paced, crisply written, and beautifully acted. This was the first time I've ever walked of a show wishing it had been twice as long. I hear this was the playwright's first play, which is stunning — wish I had that talent. Way exceeded expectations and couldn't recommend more.... full review

Jessica Moreno packs it all into this one hour dramedy about love, loss and friendship between strangers. No wonder Jessica got into the MFA screenwriting program at NYU with this one, because it's in a word: brilliant.... full review

A moving and hilarious one-act that delivers big laughs, creates genuine emotional impact, and leaves its audience wanting another hour with our characters. One of my favorite shows of Fringe 2019.... full review

Very good writing and acting between Moreno and Romaniello. Good dialogue and moments of comedic relief intertwined with drama. I see this with my sister and niece and we all loved it. ... full review

Extraordinary. Relentlessly raw, honest, and moving, this is a beautiful piece of writing brought to life by two incredible performers. The writer has put her heart onto the stage - do not miss a chance to see it.... full review

This is REAL LIFE. An unlikely encounter between strangers that turns out to be just what both of them needed. The healing you need is not convenient and shows up at the damnedest time. I feel like Nas's "All I Need Is One Mic" is appropriate here because the setting is simple but the writing and performance hit hard like sweet 16 bars. School is in session and I'm here to learn! GO SEE THIS! As a matter of fact, whenever Jessica puts out anything, I'm copping a ticket coz this show exhibits the caliber of what she brings is always at a high level.... full review

"To Richard" is a moving, impossibly entertaining portrait of two people in dire straits who discover the magic of connection. Moreno's writing is stellar and crisp, but, more importantly, deeply human and unsparing in its acknowledgement of the complexity of tragedy. Do not miss it--so incredibly psyched that it will be coming back for Encores!... full review

A crisp and empathic script expertly performed by two precise, present, and generous actors. A lovely encounter that offers laugh out loud moments, tenderness, and the warmth of hope. It's so easy to fall in love with Andrew and Carol, and walk out with a little more compassion for everyone, including yourself.... full review

Death is not normally a funny topic, but the brilliance of the script and the shear power of the performances by writer/ director Jessica Durdock Moreno and Nicky Romaniello turn this somber subject into a hilarious romp.... full review
