What I liked

The writing and dialogue was tight and effective, and the performances were so engaging. I didn’t know what this would be, and I was so beyond pleasantly surprised. For a first-time writer/director, Jessica Moreno really shone. It’s a standout debut. I’ve been a fan of her acting for quite some time, and she did not disappoint here. Jessica is able to move seamlessly from tears to laughter and back again, bringing us right along with her. The two actors together were so heartwarming and heartbreaking, I needed a hug after this one!

What I didn't like

Honestly, I wanted more. While I typically love a one-act, this was so engaging I could have listened longer and learned more about these characters very happily. But maybe the old adage “always leave them wanting more” applies here!

My overall impression

Heartbreaking and funny, this show was incredibly satisfying in so many ways.
