The simple concept. A man, to continue with his serial killer ways, must keep a telepathic “pit of goblins” happy in order to stay off authorities radar. Also, the use of visual/audio media to smooth transitions, the absurd yet very specific use of that media. Impressive. This dude is sharp and on his game. A joyous 60 minutes. I’d see this show again, 100. See this before it’s too late.
What I didn't like
I have never heard someone say that they could have watched ten MORE minutes of someones One-Person show…but I, very much so, would have with Pit of Goblins.
My overall impression
Mitchell Bisschop is awesome! 3 clearly defined characters. That’s all he needed to create one of the most interesting, tightest, wildly entertaining shows I’ve seen at this years fringe festival. Years from now I will reference this show…thats how good it was.
