Described as the “Timothy Leary of the 90s,” McKenna made a name for himself as a figurehead of the pre-Millenium psychedelic movement, an art historian, an anthropologist, an author, a philosopher and, perhaps most of all, a storyteller.

With a Shakespearean grasp of language, Terence captivated people across the world with his accounts of the psychedelic experience and his mind-bending philosophies of the nature of reality. The springboard for all of these discussions was his own life experiences, from smuggling hash into Kathmandu and exploring the Amazon with his brother in search of ayahuasca, to becoming a world-renowned psychedelic thought-leader and battling a highly aggressive form of brain cancer.

In “The Eschatology…” Fitts uses stories from his own life, anecdotes from history, philosophy, and modern science, and tales from McKenna’s life to explore Terence’s psychedelic dreams that are now at the cusp of our waking reality.
