Every actor was perfectly cast and performed their role with the right mix of lived-in experience, subtle character notes, and emotional freak-outs when the context called for it. Despite restricting the action to one set and one extended scene, the play never grew stale, and I found myself wondering how in the hell this nightmare would end. Major kudos to Pierce Minor, pulling triple duty as writer-director-actor, and his talented team.
What I didn't like
The Coldplay song as pre-show music set the mood, but we can always do better than Coldplay.
My overall impression
An edge-of-your-seat look at teenage politics, the motives behind school shootings, and possible paths to redemption, tightly scripted and honestly performed.
