About the Project
When Alison and Maddie meet for the first time at their summer sleep away bible camp, they have no idea the impact their friendship will have. A queer coming of age story, In the Biblical Sense follows the lives of two women as they challenge their relationship with religion, time, and each other. Featuring the talents of young theatre artists Cameron Kaufman and Olivia Treece, the play challenges the way we see queer stories and reminds us of when we first fell in love and when we first understood who we were.
