What I liked

The design elements brought out the themes of the production. The costumes were on point (military dystopian), the mask work was beautiful, the choreography matched the tone, the set design was minimal and striking, and sound and lights were effective. It was topical and relatable despite its non-traditional style.

What I didn't like

This show isn’t for everyone, but it’s not meant to be. Some might take the concept and execution of the play as a bit abrasive. But I think its intent is to make the audience feel uncomfortable.

My overall impression

This was a sharp and polished production by a young group of artists with a perspective and raw energy. I’d be interested in seeing how this company continues to evolve, and what other productions they present in the future.
