The presentation was down-to-earth and likable, but polished in delivery, pacing and tone. It came across like a personal story told by a professional comedian, which is what it was. The cast of real-life characters were doubtless presented with some dramatic exaggeration for comic effect, yet felt fully authentic.
What I didn't like
I thought this show accomplished its goals perfectly and have no complaints.
My overall impression
A funny and touching personal anecdote about a high-school semester abroad, populated with entertaining characters and a carpe diem through-line.
