The writing is so good, with quick dialogue and smart jokes. The Hollywood industry send ups were especially satisfying. They cut deeper, making a point about our cultural obsession with vapidity, and the anxiety we cover with blatant escapism. The characters all had strong arcs, and the post-apocalyptic world building was fresh and detailed. Not a dull moment.
What I didn't like
No complaints!
My overall impression
Laugh riot! The writing is terrific, the acting is on point. Classic Fringe fare—pop culture genre silliness with a punch—done right.
