A tremendous effort, from the cast to the playwright, and an important theme for contemporary (and 19th-century) gender discourse.... full review

I walked in not knowing what to expect (came to the show to support my friend, Brian) and walked out amazed. One of my favorite musicals of this year's Fringe. Great storytelling, wonderful musical, tied all together with an amazing ensemble. Great job to all involved. You should be proud of this production!... full review

Wow! What a rich story with beautifully composed music realistically enacted by talented actors. What a find to have the lead actor be a handsome transman who perfectly portrays a romantic transman relationship. Bravo for appropriate casting that enhances the story to be more real and heartfelt. This musical diamond (composition) in the rough (performance) may be burnished brighter for a deserved post-Fringe future. Script and score are core for this moving story with a big heart.... full review

As a transgender musical theater creator and audience member, the fact that this show existed made me really happy. It was one of two shows at Fringe that made me cry (no small feat!) but also had a lot of fun to it despite being about a serious topic. The cast also brought an impressive energy—especially for a midnight showing!... full review

This was an amazing show. The music, story, characters, and costuming was phenomenal. Actors really took you in the drama packed plot line and the music was just mouth dropping. One show wasn’t enough Im coming again! ... full review
