I love this show. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! My choice for Top of the Fringe! It's funny, insightful, the musical is fantastic, the performances are not only great but are crisp, specific, and perfectly stylized. Huge credits to not only the cast but the director for this. The songs are super catchy and Joy is simply adorable. A great look at cultural differences made with love, understanding, and heart. ... full review

Such a fun show with an excellent cast of performers who know how to milk a joke for all it is worth. This comedy about an Asian girl longing to follow her own dreams and not her parents succeeds due to its lead actress Joy Regullano who wrote the book and lyrics, and performs several songs on violin. I especially enjoyed her "Love Me For Who I Am" song and the comparison life she leads when her dream of having Supportive White Parents comes to fruition. The entire cast was thoroughly entertaining, but I especially enjoyed Greg Smith as her hip hop, grungy white brother.... full review
