What I liked

I thought it was a well written musical in all aspects with an excellent cast.
I, especially, loved that Joy whipped out the violin.

What I didn't like

A longer show :)

My overall impression

What an elite cast! The stage was overflowing with multi talented artists!
The writing from story line, dialogue, to lyrics are witty and hilarious. Being a Filipino American myself, I related a lot to Joy’s story. The grass is always greener on the other side and Joy got to experience what it ‘could’ be like. I know of ‘supportive white parents’ and how being a ‘best friend’ to your child could be counter productive. There’s a delicate balance to being too strict or too lenient.
