What I liked
It was a pleasure watching a great cast have a great time with great material. Joy Regullano is so multi-faceted – she’s an incredibly likable performer, and every moment she picked up the violin felt like a surprise.
What I didn't like
This is a full, thoughtful story that is successfully told, but told very quickly. I would have loved to spend more time with these characters, and hope there is a longer version in the works. The musicians were very good, but I’d love to see this with a full band.
My overall impression
So original, so vibrant and fun, so clever. A unique and hilarious musical that is wholly its own.
