What I liked

Every minute of it. My friend and I were in stitches. The cast is having a great time delivering the terrific material and they invite the audience in to have a great time with them. Every performance was spot on and Joy has the charisma, charm, and talent to carry the lead. She is a fantastic. She’s got great comic timing and her facial expressions, especially during her first musical number with her white parents, are priceless. Pay extra attention to them. You will be laughing! The performance I saw received a well deserved standing ovation. Joy is a talent to watch.

What I didn't like

I think Joy could extend this and make it into an hour. The crowd certainly wanted more. I sure did.

My overall impression

A great premise, a terrific lead, and a lively cast add up to one great half hour. Joy is a utterly hilarious as a young woman who wants to follow her dream despite knowing it will break the heart of her immigrant parents who want her to be a doctor. This one is a must see.
