What an elite cast! The stage was overflowing with multi talented artists! The writing from story line, dialogue, to lyrics are witty and hilarious. Being a Filipino American myself, I related a lot to Joy's story. The grass is always greener on the other side and Joy got to experience what it 'could' be like. I know of 'supportive white parents' and how being a 'best friend' to your child could be counter productive. There's a delicate balance to being too strict or too lenient. ... full review

Such a fun show with an excellent cast of performers who know how to milk a joke for all it is worth. This comedy about an Asian girl longing to follow her own dreams and not her parents succeeds due to its lead actress Joy Regullano who wrote the book and lyrics, and performs several songs on violin. I especially enjoyed her "Love Me For Who I Am" song and the comparison life she leads when her dream of having Supportive White Parents comes to fruition. The entire cast was thoroughly entertaining, but I especially enjoyed Greg Smith as her hip hop, grungy white brother.... full review

I was very pleasantly surprised with Supportive White Parents. This show had a perfect blend of comedy with very clever social commentary on cultural differences amongst family. This show had such a positive message and I strongly believe that it will leave you with a big smile on your face. ... full review
