What I liked

I liked everything about it-like any piece that plays off of a well-known story, it did well to stay faithful to the original so that ‘fans’ could be brought right down the storyline that they know and love so well-while at the same time hilariously bringing in fan feedback (Jo and Laurie!), and also, very importantly, a modern lens as we are exposed to more of the author’s personal journey.

What I didn't like

Nothing comes to mind. I think this is a very polished piece that has been refined to really tell its story with good acting, direction and production. I really enjoyed it and am inspired as a writer as well, about the power of storytelling to process our own experiences and also voice important topics, and touch hearts, while entertaining, just as Louisa May Alcott has done! My favorite kind of story-real heroes whose story is now being told!

My overall impression

Entertaining, endearing, nostalgic (for those who grew up on Little Women) while at the same time incorporating modern perspectives, very well-performed!
