When you are asked by a friend to see a one person show - you do everything you can to see it - that person has condensed their life for you and its a time to have a pure - bare bones experience with them in a structured level thats entirely on their own terms. A Year In Dragonfly is an elevated experience that descends from a staircase with a bang and rises to heal with hope and with bold clarity. It is rough only when it needs to be and thus stronger this way in its impact. I appreciate the hands on speed of its pace and flow with the time allowance. Austin Musick truly manages something special here and its lives perfectly in the space....
