What I liked
The simplicity. One girl at a piano – 11 roles. Each unique. Both funny and charming and a new look at old work.
What I didn't like
This isn’t an improvement really – but I do wonder if this song cycle could feature a group of women in various roles and add harmony and background vocals to the songs that are so beautifully written.
My overall impression
A wonderful journey through song – performed brilliantly by Laura – her writing is impeccable. I hope she continues to do it.
