John Patrick Daly gives an earnest and lovable performance to a character who starts in a shallow place. There was so much clarity and subtle vulnerability to him that I appreciated.
SLIGHTSPOILERS!:
I was not expecting this piece to be as much of a comment on social media as it was, and I loved how the presence of phones permeated everything.
What I didn't like
Some enunciation issues with the younger actors. Particularly moments when actors would walk behind the seating areas or at extreme sides of the stage, I couldn’t understand chunks of dialogue.
My overall impression
An interesting and thought provoking piece that equally looks at issues of homelessness and the self-centeredness of our current culture.
