I loved this piece. I felt for every woman in every situation, even those that were not personally mine. I also felt that each woman was a representation of the other, and the very way that each woman listened to the other brought elements of cohesion, multi-faceted connection and riveting interest to each story. I was moved by each, at times to tears, to silence, to humility and to the desire to do more to support women, all women of the world. I came in a curious audience member, I left a sister more committed to helping all women transform lives, as these women did, as all women can and do!!... full review

The show description is exactly accurate, a powerful and deeply moving collection of personal stories told by strong women. I was engaged from the moment it started and blown away by each speaker's ability to connect their story with the audience.... full review

I was touched not only by the stories each woman told, but also by Kathleen Rubin's concept that we all have a story to tell that can inspire other human beings. "It's Just My Life" gives life to this notion, opening windows for the audience to briefly live other people's realities, feel their emotions, and awaken to the oneness of humanity. The eight women on stage created a tapestry of stories, with underlying themes of connection and love. I was deeply moved, and wondered about the stories of my own life, and what value they hold for myself and others.... full review
