What I liked
The hover board aspect was such a great touch. I sat in the second row, stage level so I couldn’t see her feet for most of it. It really have the illusion that she was floating and took the whole show over the top. Her physicality on it was so spot on too. It really added a lot.
What I didn't like
I think the chairs in the theatre were set up in a way that I didn’t love. From where I sat, the projector was way to the right, but Maddie was right in front of me, so every time it changed I had to look over and up, which felt awkward. Very minor thing though.
My overall impression
I’m not a Harry Potter person at all so I was a little nervous I’d be totally lost with the references. I’m sure there were a lot of inside jokes for he HP fans, but it was still so enjoyable and hilarious for someone like me. Maddie is so talented, and the whole thing was a lot of fun.
